Directions

Garden State Parkway (North) to Exit 168. Turn right onto Washington Ave. Turn left at 3rd traffic light onto Irvington. Cross railroad tracks. and make immediate left onto Broadway. Proceed to Piermont Ave. (Rt. 114) and turn right. Continue on Piermont to River Vale Road (stop sign). Turn left to the club entrance on the left.

N.Y. Thruway to Exit 13S Palisades Interstate Parkway (PIP) South to Exit 6W (Orangeburg Rd). Proceed on Orangeburg Rd. (becomes Veterans Memorial Drive) to 2nd traffic light. Turn left onto Blaisdell Ave. (becomes DeWolf Rd.). Go to full stop sign and turn right onto Old Tappan Rd. Go to the 3rd traffic light and turn left onto River Vale Rd. to the club entrance on the right.

Palisades Interstate Parkway (PIP) North to Exit 6W. Proceed on Orangeburg Rd. (becomes Veterans Memorial Drive) to 2nd traffic light. Turn left onto Blaisdell Ave. (becomes DeWolf Rd.). Go to full stop sign and turn right onto Old Tappan Rd. Go to 3rd traffic light and turn left onto River Vale Rd. to the club entrance on the right.

Route 4 (West) to Kinderkamack Rd., River Edge. Exit turn right. Turn left at traffic light onto Kinderkamack Rd. Proceed 7.1 miles to Piermont Ave., Hillsdale. Turn right at traffic light onto Piermont Ave. Proceed 1.2 miles to the stop sign. Turn left onto River Vale Rd. Club entrance on the left.

Guest Information

We've provided some information for visitors, to make sure members and guests enjoy the same level of comfort, convenience and refinement during their time at Edgewood Country Club.

  Dress Code

Members, guests, and children are required to wear proper attire at all times when using facilities, including the golf courses, putting greens and practice areas, dining facilities and other areas of the clubhouse.

Members are responsible for acquainting their guests and children with these dress code rules. We desire to respect club traditions while remaining attuned to the latest fashions and trends.

Golf Attire

The following items are permitted on the golf course or practice areas: standard golf slacks, shorts no more than 3" above the top of the knee or 2" below the knee, golf shirts with a collar and/or mock turtlenecks.

The following items are NOT permitted on the golf course or practice areas: tank tops, t-shirts, tennis shorts, athletic shorts, cut-offs, jeans, jeans-style pants or jeans-style shorts in any color, bathing suits, crew neck shirts, golf shirts worn outside pants, or cargo pants/shorts.

The following items are permitted on the golf course or practice areas: standard gold slacks, skirts and shorts, sleeveless golf shirts, stylish crew neck shirts.

The following items are NOT permitted on the golf course or practice areas: tank tops, tennis shorts or skirts, t-shirts, athletic shorts, cut-offs, jeans, jeans-style pants, jean-style shorts, jeans-style skirts or jeans shirts in any color, bathing suits, exercise tights without an appropriate outer garment, cargo pants/shorts.

Members and guests are not permitted to wear hats or caps turned backwards, and may not wear hats or any other clothing bearing symbols or language of an offensive or profane nature.

Please wear acceptable shoes at all times that are smooth, soft rubber-soled or golf shoes. Tennis shoes are allowed. metal spikes, large rubber spikes, or field shoes are prohibited.

Smoking

Consistent with applicable law, we prohibit smoking anywhere in the Main Clubhouse, Bag Room, Pro Shops, Midway including the Midway Patio when lunch or dinner is served, restrooms, on the golf course and at the pool, Tennis Pro Shop, and snack bar. Cigarettes shall not be sold at the club. Cigars are available in the Golf Pro Shop and at the bar.

Cell Phones Please use cell phones discreetly. At all times and in all parts of the Club, please set all ringers on all mobile devices to silent or vibrate only. We request that members and their guests be courteous and discreet when having cell phone conversations.

Phone conversations are permitted for important messages. Please do not speak at a volume that might disturb anyone in your group or on adjacent holes. Please make sure that all communications are brief and do not cause any delay in pace of play.

We provide wi-fi throughout the property with no passwords required.

Junior Golfers (Children Under 25) Children under the age of 25 and Junior Golfers are subject to qualification to play on the golf course. This certification can be obtained by conducting a training session with the Golf Professional Staff.
Please call the Golf Pro Shop to arrange at ext. 258. They may be permitted to play golf at the discretion of the starter.
Locker Rooms Our locker rooms are available for your use. We ask that you change your shoes in the locker rooms. Our staff will assist you with a locker for the day and show you where all of the necessary amenities are, and on request will clean your shoes following your round of golf or tennis.
